kriselle's big brothers.

kriselle's big brothers.

i have two older brothers coming from two different worlds.

the younger one is known for being the "sosyalero" one while the oldest is known for being the "maka masa" type of person. and i might say that i have both worlds at its best.

the younger brother, now 23, is already at the pick of his business career. he graduated from dlsu-manila at the age of 20(i think?:P) with a degree in marketing. he has bought himself a car already, owns a franchise of NYfries in edsa shang, and works with AyalaLand earning as much or if i may say more than what my father earns in a year. his friends are rich, big time people he's been with all his life from high school to college and now with his work. he would be the person i would go to whenever i'll ask for a gift during special occasions or make "palibre" whenever we pass by starbucks or gonuts. he would be the one who would tease me about how old school my cellphone is and brag his current buy. he'd be the perfect company when you make "lait" things or people (hahahaha). he's a certified little boy at heart because you'll catch him laughing his heart out while watching spongebob squarepants or sitting quietly playing with his psp. you'd drool over his things wishing someday you'll be as filthy rich as him. he's so tight when it comes to money and very wise in decision making. i admire his passion for his work and sheer determination to suceed at such a young age. his world is his training ground.

the eldest, turning 25 tomorrow, is yet to finish a college degree. he's in 4th yr now taking up nursing. he had shifted to 3 or 4 courses already in 3 different schools. he still lives in our house, arrives home at 5 in the morning most of the time, sometimes had a drink or was out partying all night with his friends. his friends are the kurimaws, the sunog baga's, the maintenance men, the senior citizens whom he's always with during inuman sessions and tong its and billiards tournament here in our village. he would be the person who would bug me all day to buy him a basketball, a perfume or a doughnut. he served as my driver during highschool dropping and picking me up after class. we'd bond over a tapsilog meal in don galo's after a swimming session and both of us are satisfied with that. i had numerous times did his research, his paper, did the typing and printing for him and helped him with his school work. i get irritated easily when he pinches me or tickles the first time he sees me home from LB. he is the ultimate life of the party, being the natural comedian. a family gathering or outing would never be as loud and fun if he's not there. i admire his wit and his drive to move on after all the downfall he's encountered in life.

both of my older brothes are the recepient of my mom's novena everytime she visits the baclaran church every wednesday. i just know it. for my rich brother, continuous blessing and guidance in every decisions he has to make. for my maka masa brother, for the speedy time we'll finally see him graduate and pursue a better life.

if there's such thing as balance in every family, i think mine would be a good nominee. i've been a witness of their struggles, their comparisons, their failures, their mistakes, their accomplishments, their ups and down. i cried when they are both being scolded or punished. i feel guilty when they are scolded or punished. i too, like my mom, pray for them. there's this blacksheep and there's this accomplished one. i'm the middle person, the balancer. HAHA.

i have two completely opposite brothers whom i'm very lucky to have. although i may not show or say it to them, but they are one of my priceless treasures and the two men very dear to my heart. they have their own ways of making me feel lucky to be their little sister and i can't thank God enough for that. people should not compare them because they are completely different and excel in two COMPLETELY OPPOSITE fields. people have their own time to shine, i know that would come to my oldest brother soon. i'm praying for that. and may that be his wish for his birthday tomorrow, happy birthday! :)
